      I am not too sure if you were asking us to please find you some books that deal with the doctrines of the Person & Work of Christ (we are real people receiving these messages on this end) but in case that is what we must understand from “BOOKS ON THE PERSON and WORK of CHRIST” then here are some books where you can make a start. Both these books we have sent have a number of chapters in them that cover our Lord’s Person and Atoning Work.

      We have already sent you Tozer’s book “Knowledge of the Holy” which will go a long way to helping you with “knowing God”. Thomas Watson’s book “A Body of Divinity” together with Boyce’s “Abstract of Systematic Theology”, which we sent you also, both have many chapters dealing with getting to know God as He has revealed Himself to us in His word.

      We have attached A.W. Pink’s book “The Holy Spirit” to help you on the Holy Spirit and J.C Ryle’s book “Holines” to help you on the Christian life.

      The publishers of the 3 books you queried are all still actively promoting these works so unfortunately they are not available for free on the www. we have managed to source 3 articles dealing with the subject matter of the 3 books under consideration i.e. Well-intentioned dragons (Marshall Shelley); Antagonist in the church (Kenneth C Haughk); and Turn around strategies for the small church (Ron Crandall).       One of the ways to do this is, as you are paging through the blog and looking at all the different book options, to click on the little bubble to the right of each book title and then leave your request and email address in the Comments box. We will then email you a pdf copy of the book. Another way is to leave the same request in the “Contact Us” comments box at the bottom of that page.

      1. If you are already a subscriber let us know which one of Chan’s books you would like, or, if you’re not already a subscriber then

      2. Subscribe and tell us which one of Chan’s books you would like, or

      3. As a subscriber, get others** to subscribe and choose a Chan book for each new subscriber you motivate.

      ** When you know someone you motivated subscribes, then (i) give us that person’s name and email address and (ii) the Chan book you want. When we see that person in our subscribers data base we will send you the Chan book of your choice.
